Service · Tracking Audit
A diagnostic, in writing. No theatre.
Two weeks. We map every tag, event, and consent rule across your stack. You receive a written report with a prioritised fix list, effort estimates, and our recommendation on which fixes to take on now and which to leave alone.
30 min · No pitch · Senior operator on the call

What it is
A read-only audit of your measurement stack.
Tracking Audit is the lightest engagement we offer. Two weeks of work, mostly read-only. We don't change anything in your account. We map what's there, identify what's broken, and write it up.
Every issue gets a severity rating, an effort estimate, and a recommendation. You leave the engagement with a document you can hand to an in-house team, an agency, or to us, and they can act on it without further interpretation.
About a third of audit clients hire us afterwards for the Attribution Fix. The other two-thirds take the report and do the work themselves or with their existing team. Both outcomes are fine. The audit is priced to be useful as a standalone deliverable.
Who this is for
- Growth-focused Australian operator with paid acquisition running
- Want a written second opinion on what your team or agency has built
- Suspect attribution or tracking is degraded but can't quantify it
- Need to scope a measurement project before committing budget to fix it
Who this is not for
- Want someone to fix the issues immediately (this is the audit, not the fix)
- Below $2M revenue (the audit is more thorough than you need)
- Need a sales-y deck for the board (this is a working document, not a presentation)
- Looking for vendor selection / RFP support (we audit your stack, we don't write RFPs)

Frequently asked
- What does a tracking audit actually cover?
- Every tag in GTM, GA4, and your ad platforms; firing conditions, parameters, and dependencies; the consent banner classification against AU and EU norms; cross-platform reconciliation against the CRM; iOS 14.5 attribution loss quantified per platform; and a prioritised fix list with severity (P0 to P3) and effort estimate per fix.
- How long does a tracking audit take?
- Two weeks of elapsed time. Day one is kickoff and read-only access provisioning. Days two to nine are inventory and analysis on our end with no client time required. Day ten the report is delivered. Day twelve is the 90-minute walk-through. After that the engagement closes.
- What access do you need to run an audit?
- Read-only access to GTM (web and server containers if both exist), GA4, Meta Ads Manager and the linked Business Suite, Google Ads, your CRM, and your consent management platform. We provide a one-page access checklist after kickoff. We do not need write access at any point.
- How much of the recovered attributable revenue can a tracking audit alone deliver?
- The audit itself does not change anything in your stack, so it does not directly recover revenue. What it does is quantify where the revenue is leaking and which fixes have the highest return-per-engineering-day. Most clients see meaningful recovery (8 to 18 percent of attributable revenue) once the prioritised fixes are implemented, either by us in the Attribution Fix engagement or by their in-house team.
- Do you sign an NDA?
- Yes. Mutual NDA is standard. We sign before the strategy session if you'd prefer to share specifics on the call.
- What happens after the engagement ends?
- We hand over a written playbook for the in-house team and run a quarterly check-in for six months at no extra cost. After that, you're operating it. We don't do open-ended retainers.
- Do you do the media buying?
- Yes, inside engagements where we also own the measurement underneath. The same senior operators who rebuild your measurement run the day-to-day media against it (Google, Meta, the lot). We won't run media on broken data, and we won't hand the buying to a generalist agency that can't see contribution margin. After the engagement closes, the in-house team operates the documented playbook.
- Can we just do the diagnostic without committing further?
- Yes. The Tracking Audit is a standalone engagement. About a third of clients run that first, then decide whether to take on the larger work.
- Are you based in Australia?
- Yes. Sydney HQ with a Brisbane office in Hamilton. Our clients are growth-focused Australian operators across the revenue spectrum.
- How is the engagement billed?
- Fixed-scope, billed in two instalments. First on engagement start, second on delivery. We do not invoice retainers and we do not lock you into a multi-year commitment.
What happens after you book
Three steps. No mystery.
Step 01 · Within 48 hours
30-minute strategy call
A senior operator on the call. We look at your real numbers, spend, revenue, attribution gap, and tell you on the call which engagement (if any) is the right fit. No pitch deck.
Step 02 · Within 1 week
Written proposal
Fixed scope, fixed number, written up. The proposal names deliverables, timeline, the people involved, and the price. No hourly billing, no retainer drift.
Step 03 · Within 2 weeks
Engagement starts
Senior operators on day one. Measurement rebuild begins, day-to-day media gets reassigned to our team, and the first set of working sessions lands. Inside two weeks of the strategy call.
Next step
Two weeks from a clean diagnostic.
Book a strategy session. If the audit is the right fit, we'll quote and start within ten days. If something else is the right fit, we'll say that.
